Career exploration · Grades 9-12

Career exploration for high school students, from first quiz to a real conversation

Most tools stop at a quiz result. ESAT 9-12 closes the loop: students find careers that fit, try them in short courses, then meet the professionals and employers who do the work.

1. Discover interests

A free 60-item Interest Profiler across six RIASEC areas ranks careers by fit, with local pay and outlook.

2. Measure strengths

The VCAT aptitude assessment and the 95-item soft skills assessment show what students are good at and what to grow.

3. Try careers before choosing

Every one of 923 careers has a narrated exploration course with real entry requirements, pay and day-in-the-life tasks.

4. Meet the people who do the work

Students sign up for vetted mentors and job shadows, and schools plan job fairs around the careers students actually chose.

  • Mentors are vetted by school staff, including a cleared background check
  • Professionals see only group interest counts, never student names
  • Parent permission forms are built in

5. Leave with a plan

Each student finishes with a career plan PDF and can earn a school-branded Work-Based Learning readiness certificate.
