Real work experience for every student, even before a placement

Not every student can get an internship or job placement. ESAT 9-12 gives them realistic, guided work from fictional employers across 12 career areas, scored by their teachers.

Guided projects, not vague prompts

Each project opens with a workplace story and a named supervisor, gives students a workplace file with the facts they need, and coaches them one step at a time with why it matters, tips, sentence starters, an example and a checklist.

Plans change, just like at work

Midway through, a client or supervisor changes the plan. Students get guidance on how professionals respond, then adapt their work.

Workday scenarios and conversation practice

Branching workday scenarios let students make choices through a shift and see the results. Workplace conversation practice builds skills like calming an upset customer or giving a status update.

Teacher scoring and simulated hours

Teachers score each project on a skills rubric and approve the hours. Districts decide whether simulated hours count and set a cap. Approved work appears on the student's portfolio.

Outside feedback without exposing students

Invite a mentor or employer to review a project through a single-use link. They see the answers only, never the student's name or records.

Every activity is reviewed first

Students see an activity only after the SATRDE team has reviewed its exact wording. AI features block personal details, and schools can turn AI off.
